Information supplied through the website

Candidate forms collect your name, email, phone number, nationality, location, passport status, desired role, sector, experience, preferred destination and skills summary. A CV is optional, and you can also include a photograph, message and other information you choose to provide.

Employer and general enquiry forms collect contact details and the information needed to understand the enquiry or workforce requirement. Accounts contain sign-in and profile information. Story submissions include a name, email address, story, rating and optional role, destination and photograph.

  • Do not include banking passwords, verification codes or unnecessary identity documents in a general enquiry.
  • Information contained in an uploaded CV or photograph is also part of your submission.
  • Review the form and the file you are sending before submitting.

Why information is used and who may receive it

Information is used to respond to enquiries, assess and coordinate recruitment interests, manage accounts, review community stories and understand website use. A candidate application is an expression of interest; it does not guarantee a vacancy, selection or placement.

Recruitment may involve sharing relevant information with a prospective employer or service provider for the opportunity being discussed. Ask which recipient will receive your information, what will be shared and whether processing will involve another country before providing additional documents.

Website hosting, technical administration and embedded third-party services can involve other providers. Contact us for details of providers or recipients relevant to your particular submission. This page does not list a verified provider inventory or promise that all processing remains within Bangladesh.

Public stories and private submissions

An approved community story can be displayed publicly with the submitted name, story, rating, destination, role and photograph where supplied. The public story page does not display the submission email address. Decide what you are comfortable publishing before sharing a story.

Candidate CVs, candidate application photographs and enquiry messages are not published as community stories. They are separate submissions reviewed through the administration area. Account profile photographs use the site’s public media storage; do not use an image you require to remain confidential.

Storage, retention and requests

Recruitment submissions and website records are stored in the application’s configured database and file storage. Retention depends on the record, its purpose, the stage of the recruitment process and applicable record-keeping requirements. This notice does not specify a universal deletion period; contact us to ask about the period or criteria applicable to your information.

You can contact FM Associates to request access to information you supplied, a correction, removal of a public story, or consideration of a deletion or other privacy request. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the request. The response depends on the information held and applicable requirements.

Deleting a website account does not automatically delete separately submitted applications, enquiries or stories. Identify those records when making a request. Avoid sending sensitive identity evidence in the first message; ask how it should be provided securely.
